Professional Fees
My hourly rate is 120.00/hour. Please contact me if you have questions about a sliding scale fee.
Payment is requested at time of service by cash or credit card.
The hourly rate will be applied on a pro-rated basis toward phone contact exceeding 15 minutes. Please notify me should a
problem arise during the course of your treatment that affects your ability to make payments.
Insurance
For most insurance companies I can be considered an out of network provider. You can request for me to provide you with a superbill
for therapy services received which you can submit to your insurance provider. It is your responsibility to verify the specifics of your
coverage.
Note related to the No Surprises Act, effective January 1, 2022:
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your mental health care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give clients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services. You can ask me, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call (800) 985-3059.
“Owning our story can be hard but not nearly as difficult as spending our lives running from it. Embracing our vulnerabilities is risky but not nearly as dangerous as giving up on love and belonging and joy—the experiences that make us the most vulnerable. Only when we are brave enough to explore the darkness will we discover the infinite power of our light.”
